Slade Solomon

Research Assistant 2022/23

Slade worked at CSALT in the 2022/23 year as a Research Assistant. He is a BAS student in the Conservation and Sustainability stream, and is returning from a coop semester in the profession. While at CSALT, he experimented with different textures, materiality, and organic forms in the Fibres Lab. He is interested in exploring innovative and sustainable alternatives in contrast to traditional building techniques and systems. In his free time, Slade feeds his caffeine addiction and eats good food. He also paints and draws, with a focus on tropical scenery and Caribbean cultural landscapes.
