Mikhala Gibson

Mikhala is in the thesis year of the 3-year Master of Architecture program and joined CSALT in 2024 as part of the research on prefabrication for housing at scale and also innovation in fenestration. Her thesis work examines spatial and material catalysts for architecture brought forth from studies of the black diaspora and a series of threshold experiences. Her skills in model-making and craft compliment a host of digital skills including robotic fabrication processes.
