Hemp Construction Material Research led by Robin Papp at CSALT

Since September 2020, graduate architecture student Robin Papp has been engaged in a new research project at CSALT working with Professor Sheryl Boyle and funded by Hurd Solutions https://hurdsolutions.com/#home and a MITACS Accelerate grant entitled "Design Development for Prefabricated Building Components using Hemp and Lime." His work explores innovative plant-based building components for prefabricated architectural designs and aims to provide an array of healthy alternatives for the construction industry.
